Jersey City Process Server

As a locally based company in Jersey City, we have an in-depth knowledge of the neighborhoods, court systems, and routes. Our familiarity with the area ensures quicker turnaround times and a higher rate of successful service.

We’ve streamlined our process serving method to ensure maximum efficiency and transparency for our clients. After successful document delivery, we will provide the following: â€‹

  • A signed Affidavit of Service (also known as Proof of Service,) notarized by an independent notary.

  • Photo Evidence confirming the handing over of documents.

  • GPS Location Evidence via Screenshots.

  • Photo Documentation of the delivery.

Our licensed process servers will personally deliver the documents to the intended recipient. We attempt service at different times and locations if needed by the client, including home, work, or other places they frequent. Real-time updates will be provided during every attempt. â€‹

A Thorough and Detailed Process:

Our process servers ask the following key questions during their attempts:

  • Did the server see if anyone resided at the residence?

  • Did the server talk to any neighbors to confirm who lives there?

  • Was there a vehicle in the driveway?

  • Were there lights on in the house?

  • How long did the server knock on the door or ring the doorbell?

  • Is the server attempting service at different times of the day?

  • Was an attempt made before work hours?

  • Was an attempt made after work hours?

These detailed observations ensure that our process servers have made every reasonable effort to serve the documents. The checklist responses are meticulously recorded and included in the Affidavit of Non-Service if the recipient cannot be located or served.

If we are unable to serve the documents, we will provide an Affidavit of Service (also known as Proof of Non-Service,) notarized by an independent notary along with other associated documentation for the attempts.
